Aviation Museum Ride 3-2-13

The Conyers Chapter left with 4-member (3) bikes & (1) passenger and headed to Treutt's in McDonough to met up with the Fayetteville Chapter.  After some hot coffee and a warm biscuit we headed south on 19/41 to Fort Valley for a bio-break and additional coffee for warmth.  We then headed to Warner robins where we stopped at the Cuban Cafe' for a great lunch. After the short 2 mile ride to the museum, we took in the museum of plane, helicopters and historic information of the various campaigns.  A good reminder of the sacrifices made to keep the freedoms we enjoy today.  After the tour, the chapters split with the Fayetteville chapter heading west and the Conyers chapter heading east. As we reached I-16, one of the members headed south on I-16 to visit family in Savannah for the weekend. The remainder of the group stopped for a short fuel break in Grey, Ga. and then continued home.  Total bikes 12, members 11, guest 1, and passengers 2 for a total of 210 miles.
